About the Constellating Change Workshop (item 2 above): Releasing dreads. Advancing creative expression
(A Fields of Grace workshop)
Preamble
“Work in the invisible world
at least as hard as you do in the visible.” —Rumi
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing
and righting there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.” —Rumi
“There is some kiss we want
With our whole lives,
the touch of spirit on the body.” —Rumi
Backstory
The approaches in this workshop are powerfully effective processes for transforming a prosaic life into a poetic one. It’s not easy being human. We face troubling and delightful things. Causes of troubling things are often hidden beyond words. Approaches in this workshop allows access, relief, freedom, strength and forward movement.
Only recently, science informed that we genetically carry the experiential circumstance of the lives of our parents and ancestors. Before these findings the eminent British Biologist Rupert Sheldrake’s 1988 book The Presence of the Past: Morphic Resonance and the Memory of Nature posited a hypothesis of the processes involved is us expressing things belonging to those who came before us.
Bear with me…
Look now to the genius of German psychotherapist Bert Hellinger and his body of work known as Family Constellations (his business iterations are called Systemic Constellations) and we see the profound and staggeringly insightful, Wisdom driven and highly effective process for freeing ourselves from the circumstances of those who came before, those things impeding us in the here and now. Those things we’ve mistaken as our own.
Phew!
Rumi, a 13th Century Persian poet, saw these non-ordinary realities too—the selfsame ones in which this workshop functions. Colman Barks’ translation of Rumi is popular today because we resonate with the these energetic fields—albeit unawares.
Model and derivative bits
Hellinger found that family and ancestors exist and function in fields of energy (Morphic Fields according to Sheldrake). That there are communications between members of the system outside our awareness. That there are certain actions people take whose impact is local to their space/time. That there are other things we do impacting our progeny—and others. That the information communicated occurs through the energetic fields of the people’s unseen systems. That people of later generations become entangled carrying burdens of those who came before—issues that are not their own… that later ones embody and act out difficult circumstances belonging to those who came before.
(NOTE: Einstein said there is no such thing as matter, only denser and denser fields. You may think in terms of energetic fields or in terms of strands of DNA.)
The point is that problematic hidden connections can be severed honorably. Freeing ourselves. Strengthening ourselves. Moving us toward being genuinely ourselves and enabling us to more fully live out our own lives in our own way.
Mechanics
Come to the workshop or work with me individually to learn of the mechanics—the how-this-happens.
My derivative bits
In the 20+ years I’ve been constellating change I’ve also worked with mystics and shaman and seers from various cultures from whom I’ve learned additional models, strategies and tactics for rendering healing change. These approaches are non-ordinary energy based too, yet distinct from Hellinger’s models.
I work with the Community-of-Self System—with its non-ordinary parts. A community distinct from family and ancestry, rendering change, healing and personal empowerment.
